Such a caring place. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. My dog is so well cared for and the treatment is second to none. Thanks very much.

Took my cat here as she had stopped eating. They agreed to see her straight away and were incredibly friendly and caring. All the staff were brilliant. My cat is now much more herself again. I would highly recommend this vets, I won't be going anywhere else!

Pets at Home

4, Seamer Road Retail Park, Seamer Rd, Scarborough YO12 4DH, UK – 0345 600 9705

The veterinary practice at Pets at Home are always fantastic. Prefer going to them over any veterinary practice in Scarborough. ALWAYS friendly, the reception staff are greatly knowledgable and kind too. They’ve never let me down or turned away any problem I’ve had, no matter how big or small (having a variety of pets). The staff in the main store however are completely the opposite. After taking 10 minutes to catch it in the pen, a member of their staff then wrongly sexed my new rabbit so I had to show them myself in front of them (I’ve studied animals for years). I’ve been going to that store for countless times now and just choose to look around and select products myself as every time someone has given me information it’s been wrong, whilst also sounding like they are making up half of their knowledge on the spot. The staff aren’t attentive, I always see them talking to each other whenever I go in, also known to be quite rude showing basic customer service skills (which shows no passion for their job). The only good staff member I’ve spoken to in the shop was the manager (thank god) who helped me at one time in great depth. They seem to always hide from customers too. Massive improvements could be made to this store by giving their staff members a good amount of training in customer service and hire more knowledgable people who have a passion for promoting the welfare of the animals.

We called in to get a new scratching post for our cat. I asked a member of staff about an item, which was answered. However, she then arranged another staff member to find my and follow up to ensure we were happy with the information. Great service
